Great Scott Adams quote
Scott Adams once said, "creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep." According to Sawyer, the most creative individuals have many ideas and have to sort through their ideas to decide with ones are good and which are bad. Once an idea is determined as bad, it is thrown out. This process of throwing out the bad ideas and keeping the good ones help determine how creative one is. Creative individuals have to be willing to admit an idea is bad and move forward to other, better ideas.

I agree with what you are saying about Sawyer's argument, but I feel that he leaned more towards the point that this process isn't so much creative until they have something established? What do you think about this? I personally believe that in order to be considered a creative person this process MUST exist, which it looks like you agree with as well.
